Afterschool Club is proud to offer a wide variety of activities to our campers this summer! Arts and crafts, sports, archery, swimming, boating, and fishing are components of our traditional camp program. We are excited about our Wednesday party days and special events. Each Thursday, we offer field trips to exciting area locations or on-site events. Every day, we offer a safe, affordable, well-rounded day camp experience for children entering kindergarten – 8th grade.
WATERFRONT
Swim lessons are offered daily (weather permitting). Children will have a chance to swim twice each day.
Campers will have fun learning the fundamentals of boating and boating safety with canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats. Boating challenges and contests are also offered.
Activities such as water polo, water volleyball, aquatic relays, and snorkeling offer another great way to escape the summer heat!
Other waterfront activities include fishing trips and beach sports.
SPORTS AND RECREATION
Softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, biking, and tennis are just a few of the sports offered this summer. Campers may also choose to participate in leagues.
Laser tag, paintball, water balloon toss, beanbags, and javelin toss are offered to all ages throughout the summer.
Campers entering 4th grade and up will be able to participate in the Archery program. Our compound bows are great for young archers. Bow safety and responsibility are the top priorities for campers and staff at the archery range. Bow history, Native American history, shooting stance, and target practice are all important elements of our archery program.
Our Recreation Hall offers a place to relax and play ping-pong, foosball, and video games.
Teamwork, inclusions, and sportsmanship are important values we teach our campers.
ARTS AND CRAFTS/NATURE
Our Arts/Nature building offers a wide variety of hands-on projects and activities. Ms. Tammy’s nature program includes animals of all sorts and sizes! Basic art such as beadwork, mosaics, painting, and drawing are offered daily.
CREATIVE DRAMATICS
Groups can use the stage areas located at Goblin’s Hollow for creative dramatics, improvisation, poetry reading, dance, and talent shows.
Assemblies are scheduled daily for songs, skits, and campfires.
NATURAL SCIENCE
We will take a closer look at our natural world by offering nature hikes, plant and wildlife identifications, gardening, weather science, and astronomy.
CLUBS
Clubs allow campers to choose certain activities as often as they want! Sports fanatics, board game enthusiasts, artists, actors/actresses, scientists, and aquatic athletes can indulge their interests.
PARTIES
On Wednesdays, we celebrate our weekly themes with a party! Games, music, contests, food, and more. Fun for everyone!
We look forward to spending the summer with your campers!
