Let's Blaze the Trails! Great Outdoors Camp is bringing all the traditional outdoor camp activities to the sites plus new off-site adventures and specialized programs. From entering school to teens... we offer more adventure than ever before!

Program Highlights

  • Convenient camp sites held at Hawthorn South, Libertyville Copeland, and Millburn Central Schools.

  • Campers entering kindergarten through fifth grade will enjoy the best of the GREAT OUTDOORS' Kids
    Camp!     Mini trips and specialized explorations mixed with our traditional camp activities are sure to please this age group!

  • This exclusive Y-Teen Travelers Camp, held at Copeland School in Libertyville, is for campers entering sixth through eighth grade.
    These young travelers will venture out on daily excursions; enjoy expanded specialty groups along with our traditional camp activities. Transportation options available.

  • Campers will swim twice a week at various water parks, local pools and lakes.

  • Optional Field Trips are offered four Wednesdays during the summer at an additional cost to the daily fee. Camp sites will be open for those campers not attending the field trips.

  • Pre & Post Camps are Bus Stop locations from your camp site to daily destinations with departure at 8:00 a.m. / arrival at 5:00 p.m.

  • Sign up for the day(s) and week(s) you need care. Extended hours Included! Open 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
